Rs 20 lakh assistance to GSL Medical College student's family
A young doctor named Dr Priyanka was studying skin medicine at a medical college.
Sadly, she was hit by a car and passed away.
Her teachers, friends, and other doctors were very sad about losing her.
They held a special meeting on Monday to remember her and share their feelings.
The state government decided to give her family 20 lakh rupees to help them.
The medical college where she studied also decided to give her family another 20 lakh rupees.
The head of the college said they wanted to support Priyanka's father and family during this difficult time.
Many doctors and professors came to the meeting to show their love and respect for her.
Dr Priyanka, a first-year postgraduate Dermatology student at GSL Medical College, died after being hit by a car.
A condolence meeting was held at the medical college on Monday, where professors, doctors, students, and classmates paid tributes.
The State government announced Rs 20 lakh compensation to the bereaved family.
GSL management decided to extend Rs 20 lakh financial assistance to the family.
GSL Managing Director Dr Ganni Sandeep said the institution stood by Priyanka's father and family from the beginning.
