Priyanka's Body Handed to Family After Autopsy in Hyderabad
A medical student named Priyanka was riding a motorcycle with her friend Umesh when a car hit them and drove away.
This kind of accident, where the driver leaves, is called a hit-and-run.
Priyanka hurt her head very badly in the crash.
She was first taken to a hospital in Rajamahendravaram.
Doctors then moved her to a hospital in Hyderabad for more treatment.
Sadly, Priyanka did not get better and died on Sunday afternoon.
A doctor examined her body to understand what happened.
Then her body was given back to her family.
Her family took her to Gadwal district to perform the last rites.
Umesh was lucky and only had minor injuries.
