The Andhra Pradesh government is preparing villages near the Godavari River for the Godavari Pushkaralu.

Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan approved an extra Rs 100 crore for this work.

Most of the money will improve village roads.

The rest will help provide safe drinking water at the river ghats.

The road projects cover 111 works and 141 kilometres.

They will help people reach the ghats from villages in three districts and the Polavaram region.

The government wants visitors to have good facilities outside the main city hubs.

Munukudali is also being developed as a model Pushkar village.
