YSR Horticultural University, ITDA-Chintur sign MoU for tribal palm livelihoods

Two groups signed a big agreement to help tribal families earn more money.

One group is a university that teaches about farming and plants.

The other group is called ITDA-Chintur, and it works to help tribal communities.

The agreement will last for three years.

They want to make palm jaggery, a sweet made from palm trees, and Neera, a healthy drink from palm flowers.

The university will teach people how to collect and make these products safely.

The other group will find tribal families and women who want to start their own small businesses.

A very important leader, the Chief Minister, watched the agreement being signed.

The project will help people in the agency area and support India's goals of being strong and self-sufficient.
