On Sunday, a special event called World Tribal Day was held in Vijayawada, a city in India.

The government's tribal welfare minister said her government cares about tribal people and wants to protect their dignity.

She promised to build good schools where tribal children can study and live.

Almost two lakh children are getting a free education through hostels.

The government also hired nearly two thousand tribal teachers for schools.

It brought back 18 programs that help tribal people, which had been stopped earlier by the previous government.

Leaders plan to grow more coffee so tribal families can earn more money.

Ambulances, roads, and hospitals are being added so tribal people can get help more easily.

These steps are meant to help make Andhra Pradesh a 'Golden Andhra Pradesh'.
