Yogi Adityanath Announces New Youth Policy on Independence Day
On August 15, India's birthday called Independence Day, the leader of Uttar Pradesh, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, gave a big speech.
He told everyone about a brand new plan called the 'Youth Policy' to help young people in his state.
The plan wants to help young people learn new skills, come up with new ideas, and find good jobs.
He said his state used to be called a troubled place, but now it is a growing and happy place.
He said many companies want to invest more than Rs 50 lakh crore, which can create jobs for many young people.
He also said more than nine lakh young people have already gotten government jobs in nine years.
He asked everyone to remember brave freedom fighters like Mahatma Gandhi and Subhas Chandra Bose.
He also remembered a brave police officer named Sunil Kumar who died while fighting criminals.
The Chief Minister said girls and women are now safer and can go out alone to study or work.
He ended by saying everyone must work together to build a strong, developed India.

Yogi Adityanath said Uttar Pradesh has transformed from 'Upadrav Pradesh' to 'Utsav Pradesh' and from a BIMARU state to the 'growth engine' of India's economy.
The state has received investment proposals worth over Rs 50 lakh crore and created job opportunities for more than 65 lakh youth in the past nine years.
He paid tribute to freedom fighters and honoured STF Inspector Shaheed Sunil Kumar, who was awarded the Kirti Chakra after an encounter in Shamli.
