Yogi Adityanath: Freedom Means Liberation From Poverty, Anarchy, Inequality
On India's birthday, a big leader named Yogi Adityanath gave a speech.
He said that freedom is not just about being free from other countries.
Freedom also means no more poverty, no more unfairness, and no more people who cannot read or write.
He said that 25 crore people in India have been helped out of poverty.
He thanked brave police officers and soldiers who keep people safe.
He remembered a police hero named Sunil Kumar who gave his life while catching dangerous criminals.
He said his state, Uttar Pradesh, has grown a lot with new roads, schools, hospitals and jobs.
He also said many companies want to build things in Uttar Pradesh, which creates jobs for young people.
Finally, he asked everyone to stay united and not let anybody break the country apart.
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said on Independence Day that freedom means complete liberation from anarchy, backwardness, poverty, illiteracy and inequality, not just political freedom.
He said 25 crore people have been lifted out of poverty and that schemes over the past 12 years, citing Prime Minister Narendra Modi, focused on the poor, youth, women and farmers.
He called the 1857 First War of Independence a milestone, honouring freedom fighters Mangal Pandey, Rani Lakshmibai and Dhan Singh Kotwal.
He paid tribute to Special Task Force Inspector Sunil Kumar, posthumously awarded the Kirti Chakra after eliminating four criminals in an encounter in Shamli.
He claimed that under the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) government, Uttar Pradesh tripled its budget, economy and per capita income in nine years, is no longer counted among 'BIMARU' states, and has received investment proposals worth lakhs of crores creating jobs for over 65 lakh youths.
