Yelahanka Police Arrest Four Over Nearly One-Kilogram Gold Theft
Police in Yelahanka say a group allegedly stole gold jewellery from a house in Kattigenahalli.
Four people have been arrested.
Police say Sanjay and his wife helped plan the theft but are still missing.
The family was away at a relative’s death ceremony when the jewellery was allegedly taken.
Investigators say the plan had been prepared for about six months.
The suspects reportedly tried to leave with the stolen jewellery by bus and flight.
Police tracked them and recovered some gold and silver.

Yelahanka police arrested four people allegedly linked to the theft of nearly one kilogram of gold jewellery from a Kattigenahalli home.

The theft allegedly occurred around 2 a.m. on August 16 while the family attended a death ceremony.
Police recovered 360 grams of gold worth about ₹55 lakh and 960 grams of silver.
The suspects were reportedly intercepted near the Nepal border after police alerted the Sashastra Seema Bal.
