Mumbai Metro 2B Chembur station opens, linking metro, rail, monorail

Something new and exciting happened in Mumbai, a big city in India.

A new metro train station opened in a neighborhood called Chembur.

What makes it special is that it sits right between two other train systems.

People can now get off a regular local train, walk a short distance, and hop onto the metro.

They can also walk from the monorail to the metro in a very short time.

Before this station opened, some people had to take a rickshaw or a car to travel between the different stations.

Now they can just walk, which is faster and helps reduce traffic.

This station is one part of a bigger metro line that is being built.

When that whole line is finished, getting around Mumbai will be even easier.
