250 Children Paint Patriotism at Bapu Museum in Vijayawada
About 250 children in a city called Vijayawada in India joined a fun painting contest.
They painted pictures about loving their country, which is called patriotism.
The contest happened at a museum called the Bapu Museum.
It was part of a big celebration for India's 80th Independence Day.
A district leader, Dr G. Lakshmisha, opened the contest and talked with the children.
He said making art helps children feel proud of their country and be creative.
The children painted the national flag and pictures of national leaders.
The contest had four age groups, so kids of different ages competed fairly.
Children who did really well got prizes, certificates and special gifts.
Every single child who took part got a certificate to remember the day.
