Two Hyderabad Police Officers Awarded Service Medals for Outstanding Work
Two police officers from Hyderabad, India, did a really great job at keeping people safe.
Their hard work was noticed by the government, which gave them special medals.
One officer is named J Narsaiah, and he helps keep law and order in his area.

On August 14, their boss, Police Commissioner VC Sajjanar, held a special ceremony to honor them.

Mr. Narsaiah got the President Medal for Distinguished Service.
Mr. Maruthi got the Medal for Meritorious Service.
Mr. Maruthi earlier helped catch a huge network of online fraudsters who scammed people out of a lot of money.

RG Siva Maruthi previously received the Union Home Minister Medal for Excellence in Investigation in 2022 for his role in dismantling a Rs 127 crore pan-India cyber fraud network through Operation Octopus.
