This year, seven police officers from Andhra Pradesh received the Medal for Gallantry, which is for bravery.

All seven of those officers work in a district called Alluri Sitharama Raju.

Two officers received the President's Medal for Distinguished Service for doing an outstanding job.

Fourteen more police officers received a medal for doing their work very well.

People who work in fire brigades and prison services also received medals.

The head of police in Andhra Pradesh said congratulations to all the awardees.
