Two Karimnagar police officers honoured for distinguished service

In the city of Karimnagar, two police officers got special medals for doing their jobs really well.

One officer, P. Venkata Ramana, was chosen to receive the President's Police Medal for Meritorious Service.

That is a very big honour given to police officers who work hard and serve people with dedication.

The other officer, Anumula Niranjan Reddy, received the Indian Police Medal.

He got this medal because he helped stop Naxal activities and kept bad people from causing trouble.

The police commissioner, Gaush Alam, congratulated both officers and said he was proud of them.

Niranjan Reddy received his medal from the Chief Minister, A. Revanth Reddy, on August 15.

When he came back to his station, other police officers and local people welcomed him happily.

His colleagues said this honour would inspire other police officers to serve people with even more commitment.

It was a proud day for the whole police department.
