Food safety officials in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar stopped two shipments of sweets.

The sweets had arrived from Gujarat.

Officials said the sweets were not kept at the right temperature during transport.

They also found them stored on the ground in unhygienic conditions.

In total, 1,121 kilograms of sweets were taken away.

The seized sweets were worth ₹1,92,710.

Some were meant for Jalna and Parbhani, while other sweets were meant for sale in the city.

Samples will be tested in a laboratory.

Officials will decide the next steps after receiving the test results.
