Officials also said it was transported and stored in dirty conditions.

At a Kolhapur shop, they found paneer and shrikhand suspected to be below required standards.

At a Pune shop, they found khawa or khoya stored without a label in very unhygienic conditions.

The officials began action under food safety rules.

Further legal action is still being taken.
