Daman District Panchayat Celebrates India’s 80th Independence Day
Daman held a ceremony for India’s 80th Independence Day.

She highlighted infrastructure and public-facility progress in the Union Territory over the past 10 years.
Patel cited Namo Multi-Speciality Hospital and Namo Airport as important regional facilities, including air connectivity between Daman and Delhi.
She said Daman is emerging as an educational hub with an Engineering College, Medical College, NIFT and GNLU.
