A bus was driving on a road in a mountainous area of India called Himachal Pradesh.

The road was very high up, next to a deep valley called a gorge.

On Saturday, the bus went off the road and fell down the steep side of the gorge.

The gorge was about 100 feet deep, which is as tall as a 10-story building.

Sadly, at least seven people died in the accident, including the bus driver and the conductor.

The conductor is the person who collects tickets on the bus.

Eleven other people were hurt and were taken to a hospital in a nearby town called Tissa.

Most of the people on the bus were local people who were going to the town of Chamba.

Police are the ones who told everyone what happened.

This was a very sad day for the people in the area.
