Two killed in car plunge into Chamba gorge in Himachal

Two people died in a very sad car accident in a mountainous part of India called Himachal Pradesh.

Their car went off the road and fell into a very deep valley called a gorge.

The gorge is about 600 metres deep, which is like falling from a very tall cliff.

The accident happened at night on a mountain road near a place called Bharmour.

Police think the driver probably lost control of the car.

The two people who died were named Suresh Kumar and Sanjay Kumar, and they lived nearby.

Their bodies were taken to a hospital for a special check-up called a post-mortem.

Police are still looking into exactly what happened.

Local leaders were very sad and offered their sympathy to the families.

Everyone hopes such a tragic accident does not happen again.
