The Vadodara-Mumbai Expressway is being built to connect Gujarat and Maharashtra with a faster road.

A 35.4-kilometre part between Jujuwa and Gandeva still needs balance construction work.

The National Highways Authority of India has invited companies to bid for this work.

The work is expected to cost about ₹1,475.68 crore.

It is planned as Package VIII of the project.

Builders are expected to have 547 days to complete it.

Companies must submit their bids by October 13, 2026.

Other parts of the Gujarat route include the KIM-Ena and Gandeva-Ena sections.

The wider Delhi-Mumbai Expressway project is planned as an eight-lane road with room to expand to 12 lanes.
