Modi Unveils Gujarat Rail, Highway and Solar Projects

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Gujarat and Maharashtra on September 8.

He will open new railway sections and begin work on more railway projects.

Some of the new rail lines are meant to help trains carry goods and passengers more easily.

A new railway line will connect remote and tribal areas of Alirajpur.

New freight routes will link industrial areas with Jawaharlal Nehru Port Authority.

This may help goods travel faster and reduce pressure on Mumbai’s railway network.

Several highway projects will also improve road traffic in Gujarat.

Other projects include a ring road, a floating solar plant, housing, an office building and water supplies for villages.
