Modi to launch Rs 35,000 crore projects across Gujarat, Maharashtra
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Gujarat and Maharashtra on September 8.
He will start in Vadodara, where many transport and development projects will be launched.
A major project is the completion of important sections of a special railway for carrying goods.
This railway will connect industrial areas with ports and help goods move faster.
New passenger and freight train services will also begin.
Roads, bridges, housing, water supply and solar-energy projects are included as well.
Later, Modi will travel to Mumbai.
There, he will open the Global Fintech Fest 2026, where experts will discuss digital money, artificial intelligence and other new technologies.
The visit brings together physical infrastructure projects and plans for future financial technology.
