State Bank of India gave ₹52 lakh to help build it.

Machines will help children who are having serious trouble breathing.

The unit will also help staff respond quickly to heart problems and other emergencies.

Children with serious infections, poisoning or complications after surgery can be treated there.

Hospital staff will receive regular training to care for these critically ill children.
