SVIMS Announces Rural Camps and Expanded Emergency Care

Dr G Jagadeesh has become the acting head of SVIMS in Tirupati.

He said the hospital will hold free medical camps in rural and agency areas.

These camps are meant to help poor people reach specialist doctors.

SVIMS also plans to work with doctors to improve care for poor patients.

Accident victims near Tirupati should be taken to SVIMS quickly by ambulance.

The hospital’s emergency department and blood centre will be strengthened.

A children’s heart hospital is expected to open within six months.

An air ambulance facility is also planned for that hospital.
