SVIMS Director Orders Faster, Patient-Centred Emergency Care Measures

The inspection covered the Respiratory Intensive Care Unit, Casualty and Extension Casualty departments.
Officials were told to begin tests, specialist consultations and life-saving treatment without unnecessary delays.
Emergency units must keep ventilators, monitors, defibrillators, oxygen, suction equipment and medicines functional and available.
