KTR praises KCR's healthcare vision as Sanathnagar TIMS opens
A very big hospital in Hyderabad called Sanathnagar TIMS has finally opened for people to use.
A leader named K. T. Rama Rao said he is very happy about this.
He said the hospital was the idea of K. Chandrashekar Rao, who used to be the chief minister.
The goal was to give poor people excellent healthcare without charging them any money.
The hospital has 1,000 regular beds and 300 beds for very sick patients.
It also has 16 operation theatres and special machines like MRI and CT scanners.
Mr. Rama Rao said the hospital was built on a huge 22-acre campus.
He also said the current government delayed the project and asked it to open two more hospitals in Alwal and LB Nagar.
He hopes the hospital will help people from Hyderabad and other districts too.
BRS working president K. T. Rama Rao praised the Sanathnagar TIMS hospital, built under former chief minister K. Chandrashekar Rao to provide free corporate-standard healthcare to the poor.
The hospital offers 1,000 general beds, 300 ICU beds, 16 operation theatres, an organ transplant unit, and MRI, CT scan, X-ray, cath lab, radiology, and dialysis facilities.
KTR said the hospital, modeled after AIIMS and built on a 22-acre campus, will serve residents of Hyderabad and critical patients arriving from other districts.
KTR accused the Congress government of delaying the projects out of political spite and urged it to quickly make TIMS facilities in Alwal and LB Nagar available.
KTR noted that 350 Basti Dawakhanas were established during the BRS tenure, alongside facilities with 4,000 beds and 1,200 emergency beds with oxygen support.
