UP Raises Fair Price Shop Dealers' Commission to ₹125
The Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Yogi Adityanath, gave a gift to the people who run fair price shops, where poor families get cheap food.
These shopkeepers used to earn Rs 90 for every 100 kilograms of grain they gave out.
Now they will earn Rs 125, which is Rs 35 more.
The extra money comes partly from the state government and partly from the central government.
The Chief Minister also started a new computer system that lets shopkeepers share feedback.
This new system uses digital machines to keep track of ration, so everything is fair and clear.
The Chief Minister said that 15 crore people in the state get free ration through a big government scheme.
He also said that before 2017, ration distribution had many problems, but now things are better.
The shopkeepers thanked the Chief Minister for listening to them.

More than 78,000 fair price shop dealers in Uttar Pradesh will benefit, with average monthly income rising from about Rs 12,750 to Rs 16,250 per dealer.
The CM said 15 crore people receive free ration under the Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana and criticized pre-2017 governments for ration irregularities.
