UP CM Announces Four Benefits For 3.54 Lakh Rasoiyas

In Uttar Pradesh, school cooks called Rasoiyas are receiving new benefits.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath announced them before Raksha Bandhan.

Their monthly payment will increase from ₹2,000 to ₹3,000.

Their uniform allowance will double to ₹1,000.

If a cook faces an accident or other serious incident, the family can receive ₹2 lakh.

The cooks and their families will also get cashless health treatment worth up to ₹5 lakh each year.

Most of these cooks are women.

The government also reminded them to keep school kitchens clean and serve safe, healthy food.

The chief minister praised them for feeding people during COVID-19 and the Prayagraj Maha Kumbh.
