Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said better roads, transport, industries and government services can help achieve this goal.

The state is meeting Japanese companies to attract investment and technology.

More than 200 Japanese business leaders and policymakers are attending the event.

The meeting is taking place across Uttar Pradesh and Delhi from August 18 to 23, 2026.

Possible projects include clean energy, electric vehicles, semiconductors, factories and tourism.

Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said Japanese technology should also help small farmers and rural young people.

He wants machines and tools that save water, lower costs and increase farmers’ incomes.
