Mitsubishi Pajero returns: New-gen SUV unveiled with Toyota Fortuner-rivalling specs · livemint.com

Mitsubishi has brought back the Pajero name for a new large SUV.

It has three rows and can carry up to seven people.

The SUV is designed for driving on difficult roads and rough ground.

It uses the same basic type of strong frame as Mitsubishi’s Triton pickup.

Its diesel engine makes 204 horsepower and works with an eight-speed automatic gearbox.

The second row can slide and fold to create more space or help people reach the third row.

More expensive versions have larger screens, leather and extra comfort features.

The Pajero will arrive in Thailand first, followed by Japan and Australia, while an India launch has not been confirmed.
