MCD Conducts 39 Demolition Actions Across Delhi
The Municipal Corporation of Delhi is checking buildings across the city.
It demolished or took action against 39 properties.
Officials said some buildings were unauthorised, unsafe or against building rules.
Six properties were sealed.
Five more demolition orders were issued.
The work happened in all 12 municipal zones.
The campaign became stronger after a five-storey building collapsed in Satya Niketan on September 6.
Seven people died in that collapse, so officials were told to watch for dangerous buildings and rule violations.
