Heavy Rain Forecast Across Northern India, Delhi, and South
The India Meteorological Department said that very heavy rain will hit parts of northern India on Tuesday, August 4.
It could cause flash floods and landslides in places like Sikkim and some districts of West Bengal.
In Delhi, people will see light rain and cooler temperatures, maybe a shower in the evening.
Other states such as Punjab, Haryana, and Kerala will also get heavy showers.
The department warned that the rain could flood roads, damage buildings, and hurt crops, and told fishermen not to go out to sea.

Flash‑flood and landslide risk flagged for Sikkim and districts of Darjeeling, Jalpaiguri, Cooch Behar.
Delhi expected to see light rain, cooler temperatures (31‑33 °C) and possible evening showers.
Heavy showers also likely in Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir, Uttar Pradesh, Kerala, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Rayalaseema, Maharashtra, Gujarat, Marathwada, Saurashtra, Kutch.
IMD cautions that intense rain could cause waterlogging, flooding, landslides, traffic disruption, damage to structures and crops; fishermen warned against sea travel.
