The weather department says southeast Uttar Pradesh may get extremely heavy rain on Wednesday, August 19.

Some places could receive more than 20 centimetres of rain.

This much rain may cause flooding, waterlogging and problems for roads and trains.

Delhi is also expected to have a cloudy day with rain at different times.

Temperatures in Delhi may stay between 26 and 34 degrees Celsius.

Many other parts of India are also likely to receive heavy showers.

Strong winds and rough seas are expected near parts of the eastern coast.

Fishermen have been told to stay away from those waters until Wednesday morning.
