A special train is like a bonus train that runs for a short time to help people travel.

The South Coast Railway is adding a new special train between two big Indian cities: Prayagraj and Visakhapatnam.

Prayagraj is in the state of Uttar Pradesh, and Visakhapatnam is in the state of Andhra Pradesh.

The train will stop at many cities along the way, so people in several states can use it too.

It will leave Prayagraj every Friday morning starting August 14, 2026.

The journey takes about a full day, arriving in Visakhapatnam the next afternoon.

A return train will leave Visakhapatnam every Saturday afternoon to bring passengers back.

The special trains will keep running until late November 2026, with 16 trips in each direction.

This gives passengers more choices for traveling between North India and India's east coast.
