Arunachal Governor Inaugurates New Secretariat Building at Lok Bhavan
The Governor of Arunachal Pradesh opened a brand new office building on Wednesday.
It is called the Governor Secretariat Building and is located at Lok Bhavan in Itanagar.
The Chief Minister of the state was also there to celebrate the opening.
The building cost Rs 10.90 crore to build and was made by the Public Works Department.
It has security cameras to help keep everyone safe.
The Governor said the building belongs to the people of Arunachal Pradesh.
He wants students, farmers, artists, business people and everyone else to feel welcome there.
He also said the building shows how the state is making progress.
The new office is meant to bring the government closer to the people it serves.
Governor Lt Gen K.T. Parnaik (Retd.) inaugurated the new Governor Secretariat Building at Lok Bhavan in Itanagar on Wednesday.
Chief Minister Pema Khandu and senior state government officers attended the inauguration ceremony.
The building was constructed at Rs 10.90 crore by the Public Works Department (PWD).
The Secretariat building is equipped with CCTV-based security surveillance to ensure safety and enhance administrative efficiency.
The Governor dedicated the building to the people and said Lok Bhavan will remain accessible to citizens, students, entrepreneurs, artists, farmers and civil society representatives.
