Arunachal Governor Parnaik, CM Khandu launch Har Ghar Tiranga campaign
A governor and a chief minister started a special campaign in a state called Arunachal Pradesh.
The campaign's name means 'a flag in every home.'
They want every family to put up the Indian flag to show love for their country.
The leaders talked about how special the flag is.
They explained that the orange color stands for courage, white stands for peace, and green stands for prosperity.
The wheel in the middle stands for fairness and moving forward.
The governor also told a story about a famous leader named Mahatma Gandhi.
On August 9, 1942, Gandhi asked people to stand up for India's freedom.
The leaders thanked brave soldiers and village leaders for their hard work.
They also asked young people to greet each other by saying 'Jai Hind,' which is a proud Indian greeting.
Governor Lt Gen K.T. Parnaik (retd) and Chief Minister Pema Khandu launched the statewide 'Har Ghar Tiranga' campaign in Arunachal Pradesh.
Governor Parnaik described the state as the sentinel of India's Eastern frontier and praised its people's patriotism.
He recalled that August 9 is the anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi's launch of the Quit India Movement in 1942.
The Governor explained the flag's colours, saying saffron represents courage, white peace and truth, green prosperity, and the Ashoka Chakra progress guided by justice.
Ex-servicemen and 'Gaon Burahs' (village heads) were felicitated, and the Governor urged citizens to greet one another with 'Jai Hind'.
