Lucknow's New Vehicle Yard Will Store 237 Seized Vehicles
Uttar Pradesh: Lucknow Gets New Vehicle Detention Yard At Ahimamau; Facility To Store 237 Seized Vehicles · freepressjournal.in

Lucknow has built a special place to keep vehicles seized by transport officials.

The yard is located in Ahimamau.

It can hold up to 237 vehicles at one time.

This includes cars and other light vehicles, heavy vehicles and two-wheelers.

The facility cost about Rs 2.55 crore to build.

Until now, seized vehicles were often kept at police stations or in open spaces.

This sometimes used up space and caused traffic problems.

Officials say the new yard will keep the vehicles organized and safer.

It will begin operating after a technical inspection and handover.
