Five IPS Officers Among 20 Madhya Pradesh Police Personnel Honored

An award called the President's Police Medal is given to police officers who do their jobs very well.

In India, these special awards are announced every year around Independence Day.

This year, twenty police officers from the state of Madhya Pradesh were chosen to receive the medals.

Four of them will get a special medal for long and outstanding service.

The other sixteen will get a medal for doing their duty very well.

The officers include senior leaders like Superintendents of Police and junior officers like constables.

The medals will be handed out next year on Independence Day.

This is a big honor for the officers and their families.

People celebrate because the officers worked very hard to protect their communities.
