21 CBI Officers Honoured with President's Medals on Independence Day
The Central Bureau of Investigation is a big detective agency in India that investigates serious crimes.
Every year on Independence Day, India celebrates its freedom with a special holiday.
On this day, the government gives out shiny medals to people who have done a great job serving the country.
This year, 21 people who work for the CBI got medals.
Six of them received a very special medal for doing excellent work for a very long time.
Fifteen others got another medal for working hard and doing their jobs really well.
The people who got medals work in many different cities across India, such as Delhi, Kolkata, Mumbai, and Lucknow.
Some are senior officers, while others are constables and inspectors.

Twenty-one Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) officers and officials were honoured with President's medals on Independence Day 2026.
Six CBI personnel received the President's Medal for Distinguished Service (PSM) for exceptional contributions and long-standing commitment to public service.
Fifteen officers and officials were conferred the Medal for Meritorious Service (MSM) for dedication and distinguished performance.
PSM recipients include Shobha Dutta, Manoj Banerjee, Ginni Rana, Sanjay Kumar Samal, Ramesh Chand, and Madan Lal Dhiman.
The awards are presented annually on Independence Day to recognise outstanding service, professionalism, and dedication by personnel in government organisations and law enforcement agencies.
