Ambasamudram Railway Station Gets Major Upgrade With New Passenger Facilities
Ambasamudram Railway Station in Tamil Nadu has been given a major makeover.
The work was completed under the Amrit Bharat Station Scheme.
A new covered foot overbridge helps people move between platforms.
The new bridge is six metres wide.
A lift was also added to the existing bridge.
Passengers now have an upgraded air-conditioned waiting hall and platform shelters.
The station entrance and outside areas were redesigned.
New parking space, lighting, landscaping and an organised circulation area were also added.
Southern Railway said the changes are meant to make journeys smoother and more comfortable.
Ambasamudram Railway Station was redeveloped under the Amrit Bharat Station Scheme.

The station now has an upgraded air-conditioned waiting hall, platform shelters and improved platforms.
A lift was installed at the existing foot overbridge to improve passenger movement.
