Southern Railway Announces Manamadurai-Tambaram Festival Special Train for September 14
Southern Railway is adding one extra train for a busy festival travel day.
The train will run from Manamadurai to Tambaram on September 14, 2026.
It will leave Manamadurai at 2:30 pm.
It should reach Tambaram at 11:55 pm the same day.
The train will stop at many stations in Tamil Nadu.
These include Madurai, Dindigul, Tiruchchirappalli, Villupuram and Chengalpattu.
It is unreserved, so passengers do not need to book seats ahead of time.
The train will run only one way, and no return trip has been announced.
Train No. 06192 will depart Manamadurai at 2:30 pm on September 14, 2026.
The one-way unreserved MEMU special is scheduled to reach Tambaram at 11:55 pm.
The service is intended to handle increased passenger demand around Vinayagar Chathurthi.
Major stops include Madurai, Dindigul, Tiruchchirappalli, Villupuram and Chengalpattu.
