Kishan Reddy Reviews Telangana Railway Station Redevelopment Projects
Minister G. Kishan Reddy visited four railway stations in Telangana to check their improvement work.
The stations are Sri Bala Brahmeswara Jogulamba Halt, Gadwal, Mahbubnagar and Jadcherla.
They are getting new buildings, platforms, lifts, lighting, parking areas and foot overbridges.
The four projects together cost ₹125.38 crore.
Work at Jogulamba Halt is almost finished.
The minister said 40 stations across Telangana are being upgraded through the Amrit Stations program.
He also said many other railway projects worth nearly ₹50,000 crore are underway.
Three planned high-speed rail corridors would connect Hyderabad with Chennai, Bengaluru and Pune via Mumbai.
These projects are expected to make travel easier and support industry.
