Quit India Day Observed; Tributes Paid to Freedom Fighters

People in a city called Mahabubnagar, in the country of India, held a special event on Sunday.

The event was to remember something called the Quit India Movement.

The Quit India Movement was a big effort by Indian people long ago to become free from British rule.

A leader named Sanjeev Mudiraj put up the Indian national flag at the Congress party office.

He also said thank you to the freedom fighters who worked hard for India's freedom.

He told everyone to remember these brave people.

He asked young people to learn from the freedom struggle.

He also said young people should help India grow and develop.

Other leaders were there too, like Obedulla Kotwal and Zaheer Akhtar.

The event helped people remember an important part of India's history.
