The city of Delhi has a big group of workers called the Municipal Corporation of Delhi, or MCD, that takes care of things like schools and hospitals for the city.

On Saturday, the MCD held a special ceremony where the Chief Minister of Delhi, Rekha Gupta, gave appointment letters to 187 new workers.

Some of these new workers are special educators who help children with different learning needs.

Getting an appointment letter means they now officially have a job, which brings hope and security to their families.
