Delhi CM Rekha Gupta hands appointment letters to 1,368 teachers

The leader of Delhi, Chief Minister Rekha Gupta, gave appointment letters to lots of new teachers.

In total, 1,368 teachers got jobs.

Among them are 1,015 TGT teachers, 236 PGT teachers, and 117 music teachers.

This happened at a big event called Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi.

The Chief Minister said Delhi is a city of dreams for people from all over the country.

She said every child in Delhi government schools is a child of Delhi.

She said the government wants better education, health, and a bright future for every child.

The Education Minister, Ashish Sood, said new teachers mean better support for students.

He said the goal is to have a teacher wherever one is needed.

This recruitment helps fill empty teaching jobs in government schools.
