Telangana unveils Rs 1,000-crore plan for Godavari Pushkaralu

The Telangana government is getting ready for a big festival called Godavari Pushkaralu.

Pushkaralu is a special holy festival that happens near rivers.

The festival will start on June 26 and end on July 27 in 2027.

The government plans to spend Rs 1,000 crore, which is a very large amount of money.

They will build special places called ghats, with steps down to the river, at 67 locations.

These ghats will be built in eight districts in the northern part of Telangana.

Many people from all over the country come to bathe in the river during this festival.

The government wants visitors to have clean water, electricity, transport and medical help.

A group of ministers, led by D Sridhar Babu, is making sure everything is ready on time.

The leaders want the festival to be safe and enjoyable for everyone.
