Officials are getting ready for the 2027 Godavari Pushkarams.

They have suggested about 1,870 improvement projects costing around Rs 800 crore.

The government has already released Rs 250 crore for the first stage.

Many bathing ghats will be improved or newly built for pilgrims.

Roads around the district will also be repaired.

Officials want to stop sewage and other pollution from entering the Godavari River.

A special area at Munikoodali Ghat will be developed as a model Pushkar panchayat.

Police will use cameras, drones and artificial intelligence to watch crowds and control traffic.
