Nellore Industries Drive Investment and Jobs Across District
Nellore district has many industries that provide jobs to local people.
Eleven very large industries have invested ₹43,650 crore and employ 16,380 people.
Forty-five other large industries employ another 9,429 people.
Smaller businesses, called MSMEs, employ about 3.22 lakh people.
More industries are also being built or planned in the district.
These projects could create nearly 98,000 additional jobs.
The collector asked officials to approve business applications quickly.
He said faster approvals and incentives could help attract more investment.
