Arudra Nakshatram Golden Chariot Festival Concludes in Srisailam
The Arudra Nakshatram festival was celebrated at the Srisailam temple.
It included special prayers and rituals for Sri Swami Ammavarlu.
Priests prayed for the country’s prosperity and for people’s safety and health.
They also prayed for rain and protection from natural disasters.
A Golden Chariot carrying the processional idols was prepared.
The chariot journey began in the morning.
Many pilgrims watched and chanted hymns dedicated to Lord Shiva.
Folk artists performed traditional dances and music along the route.
Temple officials and staff also took part in the celebration.

Priests conducted Maha Nyasa Purvaka Ekadasa Rudrabhishekam, Annabhishekam, and other special pujas.
A Sankalpam sought national prosperity, timely rainfall, disaster protection, and freedom from accidents and diseases.
The Golden Chariot procession began around 7:30 AM from Gangadhara Mandapam and ended at Nandi Mandapam.
Kolatam and Tappeta Chindulu performances accompanied the procession as thousands of pilgrims gathered.
