SHG Women Trained in Eco-Crafts and Fine Arts
A group of women attended a workshop to learn creative skills.
They learned how to make products that are environmentally friendly and artistic items.
About 70 women took part.
Sushma from the Nari Vastra Organisation taught them.
The workshop was organised by the NTR District Rural Development Agency.
Collector Dr G Lakshmisha encouraged the women to use their new skills.
They were told that they could make products from home and earn money.
Officials also advised them to study what customers want and market their products well.

The training was held at the RISE Centre in Guntupalli, Ibrahimpatnam mandal, on Saturday.
Around 70 women received training from Sushma, founder of the Nari Vastra Organisation.
NTR district collector Dr G Lakshmisha urged women to develop skills and pursue self-employment.
Officials said understanding market demand and improving product marketing could help increase participants’ incomes.
