Divi's Trains 21 Women in Block Printing Skills

A company called Divi's Laboratories runs a special training centre that teaches people useful skills.

Twenty-one women learned how to print pretty patterns on cloth using wooden blocks.

They also learned how to design fabric, do tailoring and make crafts.

Their classes lasted for 35 days.

The women learned how to prepare fabric before printing, mix colours and pick the right waterproof fabric colours.

They practised printing with one colour and with two colours, and even made brick pattern designs.

At the end, the company's director, Neelima Divi, gave each woman a certificate.

The trainers promised to help the women find good jobs after the course.

The women thanked the company's managing director for supporting them.

The company says it will keep teaching women from nearby villages new skills so they can become independent.
